But who’s wearing the trousers?

DIETRICH RETURNS
It’s exactly fifty years this May since Marlene Dietrich gave her last performance at Brighton’s Theatre Royal, but she’ll soon be reincarnated yet again at the New Steine Hotel in Kemptown.
Regular performer at Brighton Fringe and well-known for her award-winning representation of Ms Dietrich, Patricia Hartshorne is bringing her back due to popular demand.
“I packed her away last year and told her she was ‘resting’. She wasn’t very happy”, says Patricia, “and neither were her fans. It’ll be a challenge sharing this intimate space with my rebellious alter ego – icons can be difficult, even dead ones!”
Ms Dietrich will be flaunting her newly laundered wig, and maybe those famous legs, but it’s Ms Hartshorne who’ll definitely be ‘wearing the trousers’ …
Get along to the delightfully intimate and bijou venue at the New Steine Hotel for this cabaret of songs and repartee – from a couple of divas!
