The beach and surrounding area play host to thousands of activities, especially in the summer, from sports competitions to simple fun with friends.  Visit the British Airways i360 for a birds eye view of the city from high over the seafront.  For the more adventurous, try The Brighton Zip – the longest zip ride in the south of the UK with a drop zone offering a 24m free-fall experience.

The Brighton Marine Palace and Pier, known locally as the Brighton Pier, is 1,722 feet long and is a Grade II listed building.  Open from 10am every day (except Christmas day), the Pier has a variety of food stalls, a restaurant and three bars. There is a funfair which includes a rollercoaster and dodgems and the Super Booster, which carries people 125 feet high over the sea, before dropping at up to 60mph.
