The Brighton Marine Palace and Pier, known locally as the Brighton Pier, is 1,722 feet long and is a Grade II listed building. Open from 10am every day (except Christmas day), the Pier has a variety of food stalls, a restaurant and three bars. There is a funfair which includes a rollercoaster and dodgems and the Super Booster, which carries people 125 feet high over the sea, before dropping at up to 60mph.

The Royal Pavilion is one of the most distinctive landmarks of Brighton & Hove. The North Laines are a shopping zone, north of the main road – North Street. With shops on your left and right, this area is a cheerful stroll full of little alternative shops and eateries. The Lanes, South of The North Laines are a series of narrow twittens and alleyways jam-packed with unusual boutiques and independent shops. Here you will find many antique jewellery outlets, eccentric chocolate shops, emporiums, arts and antiques.
