(UN)SEEN is a striking new body of work by Romany Mark Bruce, reflecting on how we engage with — or turn away from — the world around us. It asks a simple but powerful question: what do we choose to see, and what do we choose to ignore?

The collection begins with figures who are stooped and hooded, withdrawn from their surroundings. They seem unable — or unwilling — to connect with the outside world, capturing the sense of fear and disempowerment that many feel in uncertain times.

Other works present shadowy urban characters, pushed to the margins of society, concealing what they witness. In contrast, there are depictions of authority figures — well-dressed, composed, confident in their gaze. But the question remains: do they truly see, or are they blind to the reality before them?

(UN)SEEN holds a mirror to the complexities of modern life — the tension between visibility and invisibility, recognition and denial, power and powerlessness.
