BRAND NEW to the UK, DERMAROLLER therapy is the process by which hundreds of tiny needles penetrate the outer layer of the skin which promotes the natural production of Collagen. This helps keep the skin firm and younger looking and is fast becoming popular with stars such as Angelina Jolie and her husband Brad Pitt (who reportedly used the treatment to help combat acne scars).
The procedure is done using local anaesthetic cream and lasts around an hour. The resultant ‘sun burn’ is only temporary for 24 hours, but the outcome is firmer, healthier looking skin with that ‘special glow’.
